Driveway and sidewalk cleaning can address dirt, algae, and surface buildup. Stains and worn coatings may need a separate assessment. Point out cracks or uneven slabs; cleaning does not repair them. Tell Justin which areas to include: your driveway, sidewalks, patio, or pool deck.
The TJG pressure washer is rated at 4 gallons per minute. At that flow, 30 minutes of active spraying uses about 120 gallons, and 60 minutes uses about 240 gallons. Spraying time is not the full appointment length, and separate rinsing or other hose use adds water. Your actual utility cost depends on the water and sewer providers and account rules.

Yes. Identify each area you want included so Justin can quote the full project. A driveway estimate does not automatically include every paved surface around the home.
Results depend on the surface and the stain. Send photos and discuss the expected improvement before scheduling; don’t assume complete removal.
Sealing is additional work. If your driveway has pavers, ask about cleaning, joint sand, sealing, and repairs in a separate or combined estimate.
Before the appointment, confirm where vehicles and movable items should go, how to access the gates, and when you can use the cleaned areas again. Share any household scheduling needs when you request your estimate.

Driveways and walkways collect more than everyday dust. Shaded areas, irrigation overspray, leaves, and vehicle use can leave different kinds of buildup and marks. A cleaning estimate should identify the surfaces involved and the areas that need extra attention.
Tell Justin whether you want the driveway alone, the front walkway, the sidewalk along your property, or several connected areas cleaned. Include approximate dimensions or a wide photo showing the full layout. This helps make the estimate specific to your home.
Tell Justin whether your driveway is concrete, pavers, or a coated surface. Mention any previous sealing, cracks, or loose sections. The material and its condition help determine the cleaning approach.

Oil spots, rust-colored marks, leaf staining, and general surface buildup are different problems. Send close-up photos of the areas that concern you, alongside a wider view of the driveway. If you know what caused a mark or how long it has been there, include that information.
Some discoloration can remain after cleaning. Ask Justin what improvement is reasonable for your surface and whether a particular stain needs separate treatment. Don’t confuse a cleaning service with crack repair, slab leveling, or replacing damaged paving.
Wondering how much water your driveway cleaning will use? Justin uses a gas pressure washer powered by a Honda GX390 engine, rated at 4,200 PSI and 4 gallons per minute (GPM). PSI describes pressure; GPM is the flow rating used for these water-use estimates.
Estimated washer use = 4 gallons × minutes of active spraying. At that rated flow, 30 minutes of spraying uses about 120 gallons; 60 minutes uses about 240 gallons. Active spraying time is not the same as the total appointment length.
The City of Melbourne residential rate table, checked on September 22, 2026, lists water consumption at $6.22 per 1,000 gallons inside Melbourne and $6.84 outside the city for applicable Melbourne utility accounts. These categories do not represent every provider or every property in Brevard County.

Calculated examples, not measured job totals or a guarantee of your bill increase. They assume a continuous 4-GPM spray. Separate hose rinsing, plant protection, flushing, and other water use are additional. Project size, condition, and cleaning time affect the total.
Amounts exclude sewer, taxes, and other applicable charges. Existing monthly base charges are not included because they are not an additional charge caused by this cleaning visit. Billing increments and account rules may affect the amount charged.
Water-only cost doesn’t necessarily reflect the total utility cost. Using the same dated Melbourne rate table, sewer consumption is $9.02 per 1,000 gallons inside the city and $11.28 outside for Melbourne sewer accounts. If an additional 240 gallons is billed for both Melbourne water and sewer, the calculated usage cost is about $3.66 inside or $4.35 outside, before taxes and other applicable charges.
Your water and sewer providers may be different. Do not assume outdoor cleaning water is exempt from sewer billing or automatically qualifies for a credit. Check your account and provider rules.
